Health Care Family Credit Union is proud to announce the winners of our annual scholarship contest. We are happy to be able to assist these students as they work towards degrees in higher education.
Future Health Care Provider Scholarship:
This scholarship is designated for a graduating high school senior who will be pursuing a degree in a health care related field. Future nurses and doctors have been awarded the scholarship in the past.
Our winner for 2017 is: Alyssa Tipler.
Alyssa is a graduate of Pattonville High School and North County Technical High School. Alyssa is already a Certified Nurse Assistant, and very involved in volunteer work within her community. She will be attending Truman State University on a Chemistry/ Pre-Dental Track.
Health Care Education Continuance Scholarship:
This scholarship is designated for students who are already working towards a degree in a health care related field.
Our winner for 2017 is: Elizabeth Wagnon.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Illinois College and will be attending Rockhurst University to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Elizabeth has a long list of academic achievements and community involvement.
Karen Kenney Scholarship:
This scholarship is open to all graduating high school students who will be attending college classes the following fall.
Our winner for 2017 is: Mia Rintoul.
Mia is a graduate of Maplewood Richmond Heights High School and has her choice of several colleges and universities to attend; she plans to study math and physics. Mia too, has been heavily involved in the Maplewood Richmond Heights community and has many academic accomplishments.
We wish the best for all of our members and family of members who are starting their pursuit of higher education. We were flooded with extremely qualified applications for 2017, and appreciate everyone who applied.
